Laura Merillat, PMHNP-BC
Provider for mental health medication and therapeutic interventions

Laura Merillat, APRN, MSN, PMHNP-BC

Laura is a proud Colorado native who began her healthcare journey in 2001 as a medical assistant after graduating from Concorde Career College. Driven by a passion for patient care, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Regis University in 2006, followed by a Master’s in Nursing Leadership in 2012. In April 2023, she completed her Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification and became a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) through Herzing University.

Throughout her career, Laura has gained diverse experience across multiple settings, including the operating room, corrections, mental health, high school education, and nursing leadership. Her approach to care is rooted in collaboration—she believes that clients are the experts of their own bodies and that true healing happens through partnership. Laura is committed to helping each individual reach their mental health goals with empathy, respect, and personalized support.

Outside of her professional life, Laura enjoys hiking and dreams of visiting all 63 U.S. National Parks. She also loves relaxing on Florida beaches, spending quality time with her husband and three children (ages 25, 24, and 16), reading, and crocheting.
